UpperCASE 2021 is a go! I'm very excited to be able to launch our ensemble this year after having to cancel last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While we will still have to operate in a manner that employs the safe practices of COVID-19 protocols, we can still have an amazing a rewarding musical experience!
Here are the details:
1) UpperCASE is an honors high school saxophone ensemble. We will have 6 rehearsals and a concert in Dogwood Park in Cookeville, TN. Instrumentation will include the entire saxophone family (soprano, alto, tenor, bari, bass). Register HERE
2) Auditions are done by VIDEO SUBMISSION. This will save valuable rehearsal time. Auditions ensure that all members will have a valuable experience and for part placement for the strongest possible ensemble. Audition music here.
3) You will need to practice your music between rehearsals - with only 6 rehearsals, we will function like a professional ensemble and retention is fundamental for our success. Need to miss a rehearsal due to something already scheduled? No worries, we can work around that.
